Description

This 27 hectare island paradise has the 3 palm lined beaches to the North, with majestic granite outcrops to the South and is in an ideal location to create a tropical eco-development. Rich coral fields surround most of the island with dense tropical sea life.

A unique feature of this island is the granite outcrop rising from the ocean 400 metres to the west, which lends itself to construction of unique resort facilities or points of interest, or alternatively over 400 metres of overwater villas (subject to approvals) with direct entry into the corals below. The shallow corals extending both North and South of this area would also offer protection to any over water structures.

The island also features a lower gradient that most from the Northern beaches which provides a large additional building envelope for forest villas amongst the tropical canopy and its birdlife.

Boasting a sunrise over Telebang Island 800m in the distance and sunset over the calm tropical waters, the island has an exquisite tropical outlook. This island & site would be suitable for multiple resorts, or a large multizoned resort, and can also be subdivided.

A LITTLE ABOUT THE RIAU & ANAMBAS ISLANDS

The Anambas are a hidden jewel of the far East, yet situated less than 300 kilometres from the world city of Singapore.

From the first glance, these islands are breathtaking. They are encircled by extensive coral fields that give the Anambas a reputation for some of the best coral dive sites in the world. There are granite mounts and cliffs plunging directly into the corals, fine, white sandy beach- es and gentle hills, all surrounded by calm, crystal clear tropical waters and amazing seascapes.

Visitors have compared this area with the Maldives & Ha Long Bay in Vietnam – but even better. The Anambas contains richer sea life and corals than the Maldives. It also has similar topography to Ha Long Bay in parts, but with coral-based white beaches rather than black volcanic sands. The Anambas is also less susceptible to rising sea levels than the Maldives.

Being a gazetted marine conservation park, an investment in the superior beauty of the paradise islands will ensure your investment provides truly unique guest experiences for many generations to come.

CLIMATE & WEATHER

This area has a wonderfully balmy, tropical climate with two seasons:

  • April to October, when the season is drier, and winds are mainly southerly.
  • October to March, when rainfall increases, and winds change to northerly.
  • Temperatures tend to stay consistent all year, with minimum and maximum temperatures rarely less than 26 degrees and 29 degrees Celsius.
  • Not only is the climate lovely all year round, the Anambas archipelago area does not experience severe weather events like typhoons and hurricanes, or other annual or regular extreme weather events.
  • In fact, there has not been a tropical storm of any significance since records commenced. It really is a tropical paradise
